Handing over Electronic Land Certificates in Central Kalimantan, Minister AHY Part of Digital Transformation.

Electronic Land Certificates have begun to be implemented in several districts/cities in Indonesia.

This is part of the digital transformation that the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is carrying out with the hope of making services easier for the community.

This was conveyed by the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) after handing over 3 Electronic Land Certificates for Central Kalimantan Provincial Government (Pemprov) assets for sports stadiums and office buildings.

He also handed over 1 Electronic Land Certificate for Palangka Raya City Government (Pemkot) assets with road designation.

“We are enthusiastic about the Ministry of ATR/BPN to carry out digital transformation from conventional certificates to completely digital ones, which we can check at any time via our mobile phones.

“I hope that the ranks of the BPN Regional Office for Central Kalimantan Province will be more active in implementing digital transformation,” said Minister AHY in his remarks at the Central Kalimantan Governor’s Office, Friday (28/06/2024).

On this occasion, 2 certificates for waqf land and 2 certificates for places of worship with the use of prayer rooms, mosques and churches were also handed over.

“This is an activity that continues to be the daily task of the ATR/BPN Ministry throughout Indonesia to ensure that the national certification program is in the spirit of Agrarian Reform,” said Minister AHY.

The Governor of Central Kalimantan, Sugianto Sabran appreciated the land certification steps carried out by the ATR/BPN Ministry through Regional Offices and Land Offices in districts/cities.

He said that the handover of this certificate was a manifestation of good collaboration and coordination between the ATR/BPN Ministry and the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and the Palangka Raya City Government.

“Through this activity, the government and the community receive legal certainty regarding the land they own.

“Thank you for carrying out the certification of State Property in the form of granting Usage Rights on behalf of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and the Palangka Raya City Government,” said Sugianto Sabran.

In his report, the Head of the BPN Regional Office for Central Kalimantan Province, Elijas B. Tjahajadi stated.

has issued 53 Electronic Land Certificates. In the future, the number of Land Offices implementing the transfer of conventional certificate media to Electronic Land Certificates will continue to increase.

“There are already district/city Land Offices that will implement Electronic Land Certificates and have received approval from the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, namely Palangka Raya City, South Barito Regency, Murung Raya Regency, East Kotawaringin Regency, and Katingan Regency,” said Elijas B Tjahajadi.

Also accompanying Minister AHY in this activity, Expert Staff for Community Participation and Regional Government, Yulia Jaya Nirmawati Special Staff and Minister’s Expert Staff.

As well as the Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Lampri. Also present were all Heads of Land Offices throughout Central Kalimantan Province as well as the local Forkopimda.
