Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Suyus Windayana received the Ganesa Widya Jasa Adiutama award at the Open Session to Commemorate 104 Years of Technical Higher Education in Indonesia.
This event took place in the West Hall of the Bandung Institute of Technology on Wednesday (03/07/2024).
The Ganesa Widya Jasa Adiutama Award is given to parties, both institutions and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding services and/or achievements in carrying out the development of Science, Technology and Arts (IPTEKS) at the international, national or ITB level.
In this case, Suyus Windayana is considered successful in bringing the ATR/BPN Ministry to carry out a management transformation in management and in land services.
In addition, the land governance system is considered to have experienced various significant innovations.
One of them is an electronic service characterized by the issuance of an Electronic Land Certificate.
“This is an appreciation from ITB for the use of science and technology in the ATR/BPN Ministry, especially for what we have done starting from 2020-2024, until finally we were able to launch Electronic Land Certificates,” said the Secretary General of the ATR/BPN Ministry.
Suyus Windayana also presented this award to all members of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
“This is everyone’s hard work, not just me. But also previous leaders, who gave challenges, how land services must be more modern and must have an impact on society, especially in land management and land services,” he said.
In line with this, ITB Secretary, Widjaja Martokusumo, when presenting the award, expressed his hope that the award given could be a motivation for all parties.
“Hopefully the awarding of this award can encourage the progress of technical education in Indonesia even further and motivate us all.
So that we can further contribute and provide the widest possible benefits for the progress of technical higher education in Indonesia,” concluded Widjaja Martokusumo.
Apart from the Ganesa Widya Jasa Adiutama award, ITB also gave the Ganesa Prajamanggala Bakti Adiutama award, the Ganesa Widya Jasa Adiutama award, the Ganesa Widya Jasa Utama award, and the Ganesa Wirya Jasa Utama award.
Not only giving awards, in commemoration of PTTI’s 104th anniversary a Scientific Oration was also held by I.G.B.N Makertihartha with the theme Development of Biofuel Production Process Technology in Indonesia.
This Open Session was attended by the Board of Trustees, Chancellor, Dean, and the ITB Academic Community.
After receiving the award, Suyus Windayana visited the study program where he completed his studies in 1992. The Secretary General of the Ministry of ATR/BPN was welcomed by all levels of the Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Earth Science and Technology, ITB.
