The joint SAR team finally found the victim who was swept away by the current and drowned in the Angke River on Wednesday (10/7) afternoon at around 11.00 WIB.

The victim, known as Rizki Aditya Nugraha (14), was found dead in a 5 KM radius from the incident location.

Precisely around the Greenlake Housing Complex, Cipondoh, Tangerang City.

“We found the victim this afternoon with the joint SAR element and immediately evacuated him to the funeral.

Home where we will hand him over to his family.” emphasized Desiana Kartika Bahari, S.E., M.H., QGIA., Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in SAR operations.

Previously, search efforts were carried out by joint SAR elements since Tuesday (9/7) by dividing the search area into 2 (two).

The first team carried out search efforts by searching using rubber boats along the Angke River up to 9 KM from the incident location.

And the second team carried out visual searches by land up to a radius of 3 KM from the incident location. Dozens of joint SAR personnel were deployed in search efforts.

Including Jakarta SAR Office, Pondok Bahar Village Apparatus, Ciledug Police, Tangerang City BPBD, Tangerang City Fire Brigade, Ciledug Babinsa.

Karang Tengah Satpol PP, Tangerang City PMI, Tangerang City Tagana, Halal Sinergi Logistics, Bagana NU, IEA Tangerang, Pala Baja, WMI.

Ciledug Ambulance Volunteers, Helix Corps, SAR MTA, FKPM Ciledug Police, DMC Dompet Dhuafa, and the community.

It is known that the victim drowned and was swept away by the current on Tuesday (9/7) at around 15.30 WIB.

While swimming with his two friends in the Angke River, Pondok Bahar, Karang Tengah District, Tangerang City, Banten.
