The Civil Service Bureau is also not yet ready to say who should replace Widi.

“Thankfully, the presidential bodyguards have been prepared,” said the State Palace Personnel Bureau.

According to him, three of President Joko Widodo’s aides received strategic positions before the end of their term of office. 

These generals also became Regional Military Commanders until they reached the rank of three stars. 

These aides also guarded President Joko Widodo in the first to second periods.

Lieutenant General Widi Prasetijono is a high-ranking TNI Army officer who currently serves as Commander of the TNI-AD Kodiklat since December 2023. 

Lt. Gen. Widi has served 8 months and 21 days, as quoted by tribuntimur.com.

Widi, is a graduate of the Military Academy (1993) who came from the Infantry branch and served for a long time in the Kopassus unit.

He also served as aide to the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
