Tangerang Regent Candidate Maesyal Rasyid attended the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s birthday event held by the management and cadres of the Tangerang Regency Nahdatul Ulama (NU), on Saturday 5 October 2024 afternoon.

Held in Sukamantri Village, Pasarkemis District, the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s birthday was also attended by candidate for Governor of Banten Andra Soni.

The arrival of the Candidate for Regent of Tangerang and the Candidate for Governor of Banten was warmly welcomed by hundreds of NU cadres in Tangerang Regency.

“Yes, thank God, today I was invited by the NU Muslimat committee to attend to commemorate the birthday of the great Prophet Muhammad SAW and this activity is routinely carried out,” said Tangerang Regent Candidate Maesyal Rasyid to the media crew.

Tangerang Regent candidate number 2 also left a message to all NU Muslim women in other sub-districts to continue holding similar activities.

As an effort to implement religious programs in Tanggerang Regency.

“And the most important thing is to increase faith and devotion to Allah SWT,” he said.

On his occasion, Maesyal Rasyid also said that if elected as Regent of Tangerang on November 27 2024.

He would continue Ahmed Zaki Iskandar’s program as previous Regent in building Islamic boarding schools.

He said, currently there are still around 250 Islamic boarding schools remaining, which Maesyal-Intan will continue in terms of sanitation construction.

It doesn’t stop there, gradually dormitories will also be built at Islamic boarding schools in Tangerang Regency.

“At the same time, we will gradually build the dormitories as well.

For the comfort of the students and female students in the event that they take or carry out the teaching and learning process of our religion, the Islamic religion,” he said.
