Tangerang Regency DPKP Tests Shine Muscat Wine Samples at AEON Retail Store Citra Raya Tangerang.

Agriculture and Food Security Service, as the Regional Food Safety Competent Authority (OKKPD), carries out post-market supervision of Shine Muscat Grapes at the AEON Store Citra Raya retail, Tangerang Regency.

This supervision is carried out as a follow-up to National Food Agency Regulation Number 9 of 2024.

Which is an amendment to National Food Agency Regulation Number 2 of 2024 concerning Supervision of Fulfillment of Safety, Quality, Nutrition, Label and Advertising Requirements for Fresh Food.

Head of the Tangerang Regency Agriculture and Food Security Service, Ir. Asep Jatnika Sutrisno, explained that the OKKPD team had carried out fresh food supervision at the AEON Store Citra Raya on November 1 2024.

From the results of the supervision, 6 samples of Shine Muscat Grapes have been quickly tested qualitatively with the parameters of pesticide residue and heavy metal contamination (lead and mercury), and all samples were declared negative.

“The results of this rapid testing have been submitted to the National Food Agency together with OKKPD from various districts/cities and provinces throughout Indonesia.

As many as 90% of the samples were declared negative for pesticides, while 10% were detected to contain pesticide residues, but were still below the specified threshold ,” said Asep, Tuesday (05/11/2024).

Furthermore, based on laboratory (quantitative) testing by the National Food Agency on 240 types of pesticide residues, no residues were found that exceeded the threshold.

Including the pesticide compounds chlorpyriphos and endrin aldehyde, which were previously found in Thailand.
