The Tangerang Regency Government, through the Health Office, held free health checks, blood donations, and fitness tests, in order to commemorate National Health Day.
The activity began with a morning assembly at the Tangerang Regency Health Office on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Head of the Tangerang Regency Health Office, dr. H. Achmad Muchlis, MARS, said that this event reflected the Tangerang Regency Government’s commitment to bringing health services closer to the community while raising awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
The event is expected to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining health.
“This commemoration is not just a momentum to provide health services, but also to strengthen synergy with various elements of society.
We invite the entire community to maintain their health in order to create a healthier, more active, and more productive Tangerang,” said dr. Muchlis.
This year’s commemoration is even more special with the achievements of the Tangerang Regency Health Office, namely a number of awards from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (KEMENKES-RI).
The first award was given for the AIDS, TB, and Malaria (ATM) category through the Electronic Immunization and Logistics Monitoring System (SMILE ATM) application.
This achievement reflects the success of the agency in utilizing technology to effectively monitor immunization and health logistics.
In addition, the Sindang Jaya Health Center received an award for being ranked 7th nationally in inputting the highest immunization achievements through the Sehat Indonesiaku Application (ASIK) for the period July to September 2024.
This award proves the commitment of the Sindang Jaya Health Center in recording accurate immunization data.
Dr. Muchlis expressed his gratitude to all parties who have supported this achievement, especially the Tangerang Regency Pharmacy Installation, the P3PL Division, and the Head of the Health Center in Tangerang Regency.
According to him, this award is a motivation for the Tangerang Regency Government to continue to improve the quality of health services.
“With this achievement, we are committed to providing the best health services for a healthy and prosperous Tangerang Regency,” concluded Dr. Muchlis.
