Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).
Nusron Wahid firmly warned those involved in land crimes that he would personally deliver the individuals to law enforcement officials (APH).
This warning is a sign of seriousness in eradicating the land mafia because according to him, land issues have become an acute problem.
“So this is a warning to anyone involved in this land mafia, when it comes to state officials, especially when it comes to officials from the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
“We will not hesitate, it is not someone else who will deliver it to APH, but myself,” stressed Minister Nusron when giving a speech at the 2024 Land Crime Prevention and Resolution Coordination Meeting, at the Grand Mercure Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday (14 /11/2024).
Talking about land crimes, Minister Nusron admitted that he had identified the root of the problem.
According to him, in the land disputes and conflicts that occurred there was also the involvement of internal ATR/BPN elements.
Therefore, apart from strengthening cooperation with other relevant stakeholders, Nusron Wahid emphasized the need to strengthen the internal ATR/BPN system.
“If we want to eradicate the land mafia, apart from working together with external stakeholders, we must strengthen and improve the system and increase capabilities.
As well as the integrity of human resources from friends at BPN itself. “This is from our internal side,” explained the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN.
Nevertheless, Minister Nusron did not deny involvement from external parties from the ATR/BPN Ministry.
