The Acting (Pj) Regent of Tangerang, Andi Ony inaugurated the Animal Clinic owned by the Tangerang District Government (Pemkab) in Curug District, Tuesday (17/12/24).

In his speech, Pj Andi Ony appreciated the initiative and hard work of the Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Tangerang Regency which built a veterinary clinic owned by the regional government.

He hopes that the animal clinic with the various facilities it has can be used and maintained as well as possible.

“Building a facility like this animal clinic is not easy, but maintaining and caring for it is a bigger challenge.

I hope all parties involved can commit to maintaining this facility so that it continues to benefit the people of Tangerang Regency in the long term,” said Andi Ony.

According to him, the inauguration of this veterinary clinic shows one of the commitment of the Tangerang District Government in realizing the well-being of animals and improving the quality of life of the community through the control of animal health.

“The development of a veterinary clinic funded through the APBD further strengthens the commitment of the Tangerang District Government in realizing the well-being of animals and improving the quality of life of the community through animal health control,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Agriculture and Food Security Department of Tangerang Regency, Asep Jatmika, said that this veterinary clinic is the first facility in Tangerang Regency and even the most complete in Banten Province.

“This animal clinic is a real proof of the seriousness of the Tangerang Regency Government in improving animal health services, especially pets or pets,” said Asep.

According to current data, more than 1,000 cats and almost 900 dogs have been registered as customers from the veterinary clinic.

“Currently, more than 1,000 cats and almost 900 dogs have become customers at this veterinary clinic,” he said.
