Certification of waqf land plays an important role in providing legal certainty for land used by people for worship, Wednesday (01/01).
In line with the Priority Programs listed in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), namely ensuring harmony between religious communities, freedom of worship, and the establishment and maintenance of houses of worship.
The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) will continue to accelerate the certification of waqf lands and houses of worship.
“The number of waqf land objects registered nationally has only reached 41% of the total 655,238 waqf land objects.
This number is still very small compared to the existing potential so that it requires acceleration in the coming year,” said the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN.
Nusron Wahid in front of the media crew at a meeting entitled End of Year Notes of the Ministry of ATR/BPN which took place at the Prona Hall, Jakarta, Tuesday (12/31/2024).
In 2024, the Ministry of ATR/BPN has certified 15,093 plots of waqf land. This number is considered necessary to be increased so that all waqf land in Indonesia can be fully registered.
One of the proposals put forward by Minister Nusron is the specialization of a counter for processing waqf land certificates at each Land Office.
With the existence of this counter, it is hoped that the processing of waqf land certification can be carried out more quickly.
“For waqf land, certification is indeed hampered by the long process in the field, such as the lack of documents from the wakif or heirs.
We will improve the digitalization system so that this process is faster and more transparent,” said Minister Nusron.
Present at this activity, Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, Ossy Dermawan; High-ranking and Pratama Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN; and 84 National Media crews.

If a single piece of land can be owned by two to five people, there must be something wrong. Physical truth is singular.

Treatment and prevention must be carried out correctly, starting from the community health center.

This demonstrates that efforts to address stunting in our region are considered successful.
