Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, received a visit from the Head of the Indonesian Capital Authority (OIKN), Basuki Hadimuljono on Tuesday (12/31/2024) at the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Jakarta.
This meeting aims to synchronize and discuss land measurement procedures in the IKN area, especially for investor allocation involving both institutions, namely the Ministry of ATR/BPN and the IKN Authority.
“We want to synchronize land measurements. So far, OIKN as the manager of assets in use (ADP) has always carried out land measurements in order to allocate them to investors.
However, after the land allocation, it will be certified and re-measured by the Ministry of ATR/BPN,” said Basuki Hadimuljono after the meeting with Minister Nusron.
In the meeting, both parties agreed that land measurements in the IKN area would be carried out by competent certified surveyors.
This step was taken so that the measurements were only carried out once, but could be recognized by both institutions, thus avoiding duplication and increasing efficiency in the IKN development planning process.
Certified surveyors are working partners of the Ministry of ATR/BPN which have been regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Number 8 of 2022.
“Indeed, the authority does lie with (the Ministry of) ATR/BPN. Well, we want to unite this,” explained Basuki Hadimuljono.
This standardized land measurement is expected to be a solid foundation for the development of infrastructure and various facilities that support the success of the IKN as the new capital city.
Also participating in this meeting were the Secretary General of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Suyus Windayana; Director General of Land Dispute and Conflict Handling (PSKP).
Iljas Tedjo Prijono; Director General of Determination of Land Rights and Registration (PHPT), Asnaedi; and Director General of Land and Spatial Survey and Mapping (SPPR), Virgo Errsta Jaya.
