As a quick response to the direction of President Joko Widodo, who instructed that the launch of electronic certificates be carried out massively and implemented on a national scale, the end of May 2024.
It is a historic moment for land offices in Banten Province where all land offices throughout Banten Province officially implement Electronic Land Rights Certificates or e-Certificates.
This was declared by the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) on Thursday (30/5/2024) at the Novotel Tangerang Hotel, Banten Province.
On that occasion, AHY declared 14 cities to be Complete Cities including Tangerang City and declared the implementation of e-Certificates at land offices throughout Banten Province.
The implementation of this e-Certificate is aimed at streamlining land registration, providing certainty, and legal protection.
Reducing the number of disputes, conflicts and land cases, increasing the value of Registering Property, minimizing land transaction costs so as to prevent illegal levies.
E-certificates are issued for services that require replacement/renewal of certificate forms such as changing the name of the certificate.
First-time land registration, division, merger and other services.
E-certificates which are now only 1 (one) sheet are equipped with data security using secure paper containing special codes.
QR codes, and electronic signatures that have been registered with the Electronic Certification Center (BSrE), the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).
