Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid was appointed as Deputy Chair (Waka) for Land Provision in the Task Force for the Acceleration of Downstreaming and National Energy Resilience by President Prabowo Subianto.
Speaking of his capacity as Minister of ATR/Head of BPN as well as Deputy Chair of the Task Force, Minister Nusron said that his party fully supports downstreaming and energy resilience.
“The meeting (Task Force Meeting) will start tomorrow, tomorrow morning (Friday, 17/01/2025), especially since this downstreaming is part of the priority program and Asta Cita of President Prabowo Subianto.
We must support downstreaming. Especially downstreaming in the energy sector.
So this is a double priority,” said Minister Nusron in front of the media crew when met at the Office of the Ministry of ATR/BPN on Thursday (16/01/2025).
The appointment of Minister Nusron was officially stated in Presidential Decree or Keppres Number 1 of 2025 concerning the Task Force for the Acceleration of Downstreaming and National Energy Resilience.
President Prabowo Subianto officially signed the Presidential Decree concerning the Task Force for the Acceleration of Downstreaming and National Energy Resilience on Friday, January 3, 2025 in Jakarta.
Regarding his role in the Task Force, Minister Nusron said that his party formulated several matters that are the authority of the Ministry of ATR/BPN,
some of which are land information, land provision, principles of spatial planning dimensions, and accelerating licensing processes related to the land sector.
“So the first priority is energy, the second priority is downstreaming.
We formulate what is our authority like those four things. If you look at the keywords, the problem of downstreaming is acceleration.
This acceleration is so that there are results and so on,” concluded Minister Nusron.
