In line with the national program to increase fish consumption to meet children’s nutritional needs in order to reduce stunting rates, the Tangerang Regency Government through the Fisheries Service (Diskan) initiated five leading programs for 2025.
Head of Diskan Tangerang Regency, Jainudin said the five leading programs will target increasing capture and cultivation production results.
Increasing fish consumption in meeting nutritious food, increasing food security in the fisheries sector and increasing the economy.
One of them will collaborate with ten police stations within the Tangerang Police with the concept of a joint program to cultivate catfish and tilapia with the BUDAYAKAN BATIK system (Freshwater fish cultivation with the Bioplok and Probiotic system)
“Later, we will provide each police station with 10 complete biofloc packages including fish seeds, aerators and fish feed,” he said.
Jainudin emphasized that with this collaborative concept, it is to support increasing fish production and consumption for nutritional needs and in the context of food security in the fisheries sector.
The next program, his party will build a fish farming village by placing four areas, namely Sukamulya, Cisoka, Panongan and Mekar Baru.
With the concept of synergizing the fields of cultivation and fisheries processing.
“The target is to increase fish farming production and strengthen the economy in the fish processing sector,” said Jainudin.
Of course, the above program needs to be supported by strengthening the Development of Fish Seed Processing Units so that the seeds produced are of the best quality.
In addition, assistance to increase fish production as many as 11 fishing boats will be distributed to priority fishing groups in 8 sub-districts which the previous year we had provided as many as 2 fishing boats.
“Hopefully this superior program can be right on target in increasing fish consumption in order to meet nutritional needs, reduce stunting rates, and increase the economy.
Eradicating extreme poverty in Tangerang Regency,” he concluded.
