The Tangerang Regency Transportation Agency (Dishub) held technical guidance for the selection of student pioneers of Traffic and Road Transportation Safety (LLAJ) at the Tangerang Regency level.
This activity is routinely carried out for students to become safety ambassadors to improve their skills and knowledge related to LLAJ safety.
“So that students can later socialize the importance of driving safety in schools, and become Agents of Change,” said Head of Safety Surachman at the Multipurpose Building (GSG) of the Tangerang Regency Government Center, Wednesday (12/02/25).
He hopes that the activity will teach students to prioritize safety and instill a culture of orderly traffic on the road from an early age.
This event has the theme “Application of Technology, and Digitalization as an instrument of Sustainable Transportation”
“Students as the younger generation are a strategic target in the process of instilling a culture of orderly traffic to improve the culture of security and safety in traffic on the road,” said Head of Safety Surachman.
This activity was held for three days with participants from all high schools in Tangerang Regency.
Participants were given an understanding of various materials presented by the Ministry of Transportation, Tangerang Police, and Banten Provincial Health Office.
“Participants who take part in this technical guidance will later be selected as safety ambassadors by creating scientific papers,” said Surachman.
He hopes that this event can shape students’ character, improve communication skills, and encourage active participation in LLAJ safety.
“By increasing awareness among students in particular, it can reduce the number of accidents that occur,” he concluded.
