The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) has issued adjustments to working hours during the month of Ramadan.

This is stated in the Regent Regulation (Perbup) Number 2 of 2025 concerning the Days and Hours of Work of State Civil Apparatus.

Head of the Human Resources and Civil Service Agency (BKPSDM), Hendar Herawan said, in the explanation of Perbup number 2 of 2025, the days and hours of work of ASN are regulated during the holy month of Ramadan.

“For State Civil Apparatus (ASN) employees with a five-day work system, Monday to Thursday, they start at 08.00 WIB until 15.00 WIB. Break time, 12.00 WIB until 12.30 WIB.

Specifically on Fridays, they start at 08.00 WIB until 15.30 WIB with a 1-hour break,” he said when giving a statement to the Diskominfo team, Sunday (02/03/2025).

However, Hendar emphasized that for Regional Apparatus that have working days outside of these provisions such as, RSUD, BPBD and so on to be adjusted.

According to him, the number of effective working hours in the month of Ramadan 1446 Hijriah is 32 hours 30 minutes per week.

“In this month of Ramadan, so that every ASN remains productive and achieves its performance targets with the adjustment of working hours, and remains optimal in public services,” said Hendar.
