E-KTP corruption Paulus Tannos did not want to surrender himself to the Indonesian government, instead he surrendered himself to the Singapore government, Monday (02/06) Jakarta.
The KPK also asked the Singapore Police to hand over the fugitive in the corruption case, because he stole in Indonesia.
The KPK will try to coordinate with the Singapore police, for suspect PT to be processed legally in Indonesia it so pers room.
The KPK also asked for coordination with the Singapore authorities so that the E-KTP suspect can be processed legally in Indonesia.
According to information from the Ministry of Law (Kemenkum), the fugitive in the E-KTP corruption case Paulus Tannos refused to surrender himself voluntarily to the Indonesian government.
“The position of PT (Paulus Tannos) is currently not willing to be voluntarily surrendered,” said the Director General of General Legal Administration (AHU) of the Ministry of Law, Widodo, when contacted, Monday (2/6/2025).
Widodo said, currently Paulus Tannos is applying for a suspension of detention to the Singaporean Authority.
“Currently PT is applying for a suspension of detention to the Singapore court and the Singapore AGC, at the request of the Indonesian Government.
Continue to strive to fight against the PT’s request,” he said.
