Inauguration of Management, Hj Rismawati Maesyal Rasyid Becomes Chairperson of Dekranasda Tangerang Regency

Tangerang Regent Moch Maesyal Rasyid inaugurated 78 new management of the Tangerang Regency Regional National Craft Council (Dekranasda) for the 2025-2030 period.

In the inauguration, Hj Rismawati Maesyal Rasyid was appointed as Chairperson of Dekranasda Tangerang Regency.

In his remarks, the Tangerang Regent congratulated all the newly inaugurated management. He emphasized the importance of Dekranasda’s role in strengthening the creative economy sector and advancing local craft products.

“On behalf of myself and the Tangerang Regency Government, I congratulate Mrs. Hj. Rismawati Maesyal Rasyid and her staff.

Hopefully, this new management will be able to continue the spirit and hard work in advancing the regional craft sector,” he said.

Regent Maesyal stated that in the midst of the rapid flow of globalization and technological advances, society is required to continue to innovate without forgetting the cultural roots as a regional identity.

He also highlighted the extraordinary potential of Tangerang Regency in the field of crafts, such as bamboo weaving, typical batik, and other craft products.

“Through the synergy between Dekranasda, the Regional Government, and MSME actors, I am sure that our local crafts are able to compete in the national and even international markets,” he said.

He hopes that Dekranasda Tangerang Regency will become a driver of the growth of the creative industry based on local culture. In addition to fostering and promoting craftsmen.

Dekranasda is also expected to be able to utilize digital technology, collaboration between regions, and the role of the media to expand the market reach of Tangerang Regency’s superior products.

Hj Rismawati Maesyal Rasyid in her speech as the new Chairperson of Dekranasda, explained that Dekranasda is an organization that functions as a government partner in fostering and developing regional craft products and empowering MSMEs.

“Dekranasda is a forum that brings together art lovers and enthusiasts to support and develop craft products. In addition, we also encourage business development and improve the welfare of MSME actors,” she said.

According to her, Dekranasda has a number of strategic goals, including developing the craft industry, preserving cultural heritage, improving community welfare.

Encouraging innovation and creativity, strengthening the role of craftsmen, and providing a forum for art lovers.

She also expressed her appreciation for the support of the Tangerang Regency Government which has provided space for MSME actors to gain access to capital through financial institutions such as BPR and LKM.

“Please help our MSMEs, Sir. Hopefully they can develop and become the pride of Tangerang Regency,” she said.

Before the inauguration event, the invited guests were greeted with an exhibition of craft products made by local MSME actors.

The Head of Dekranasda admitted to being impressed with the quality of the products displayed, ranging from batik, bags, to shoes.

“They are all good, I am very happy to see them. Hopefully they can be used as souvenirs or used by ourselves so that we are proud to use local products, especially from Tangerang Regency,” he added.

He emphasized that his party will continue to encourage the improvement of the quality of craft products through training, mentoring, and opening market access.

With these steps, Tangerang craft products are expected to be able to compete with products from other regions.

“This is the beginning to rise, together we increase Dekranasda’s contribution in supporting regional development through empowering the creative economy based on local culture,” he concluded.
