Tangerang Regent Launches Intan Emas Program to Prevent Early Risks in Toddlers.

TANGERANG, POSINTERNASIONAL.COM.

The Tangerang Regency Government has officially launched the Intan Emas (Golden Generation Child Investment) program through the Tangerang Regency Hospital as an innovation in preventing early health risks for toddlers.

The launch was held at the GSG Tangerang Regency Government Center, Monday (16/6).

This program is a long-term investment strategy initiated by the Director of the Tangerang Hospital to support children’s growth and development towards Indonesia Emas 2045.

Tangerang Regent H Moch Maesyal Rasyid emphasized the importance of investment in the children’s health sector as a foundation for developing superior human resources.

“Intan Emas is our effort to form a healthy next generation from the womb to toddler age.

The Tangerang Regency Government will continue to strengthen health services from the Hospital to the Integrated Health Post,” said the Regent.

Regent Maesyal also said that the Tangerang Regency Government has allocated a health budget of IDR 1.1 trillion, or 23% of the total APBD, exceeding the national standard of 10%.

“This is proof of our commitment to public health. Today’s children are the leaders of the future. If they are healthy and qualified, this nation will be strong and competitive globally,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Tangerang Regency Hospital, dr. Endang Widyastiwi, emphasized the importance of the First 1,000 Days of Life (HPK) as a golden period of child growth.

Intan Emas is presented to detect health risks early and integrate cross-sector collaboration.

“This program does not belong to the Hospital alone, but is a shared responsibility. Synergy across OPDs and the use of digital data are the keys to success,” explained dr. Endang.

He also explained that the Hospital now has a Level III Child Growth and Development Clinic, as a form of preventive and early detection services.

The Intan Emas Program carries four main pillars, namely early detection of toddler growth and development disorders.

Integrated digital data-based monitoring, increasing the capacity of medical human resources and cadres, and strengthening the tiered and collaborative cross-sector referral system.

The launch event was closed with an interactive dialogue with health workers and practitioners, including Dewi Yul, and was attended by Deputy Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah, OPD ranks, heads of Health Centers, medical personnel, and Posyandu cadres from all over Tangerang Regency.
