Deputy Minister Ossy Hands Over 160 Land Certificates to Regional Governments and Communities in Central Sulawesi, Emphasizes State Commitment to Providing Legal Certainty.

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Menko IPK), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), along with Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (Wamen ATR/Waka BPN), Ossy Dermawan.

Handed over 160 land certificates to regional governments and the community of Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) on ​​Wednesday (July 9, 2025).

The handover of these certificates is part of the government’s efforts to provide legal certainty for land throughout Indonesia.

“We at the Ministry of ATR/BPN are committed to providing fast, transparent, and pro-poor land services.

We also continue to strengthen collaboration with regional governments.

Community leaders, and traditional institutions to ensure our approach is more contextual and equitable,” said Deputy Minister Ossy at the Donggala Port Passenger Terminal, Central Sulawesi.

Certificates were symbolically handed over to several regional heads and agency representatives in Central Sulawesi. At this event, Central Sulawesi Governor Anwar Hafid received 37 Regional Property (BMD) certificates.

Donggala Regent Vera Elena Laruni received 1 certificate; Poso Regent Verna Inkiriwang received 1 certificate; Banggai Laut Regent Sofyan Kaepa received 25 certificates.

Parigi Moutong Regent Erwin Burase received 4 certificates; Tolitoli Deputy Regent Mohammad Besar Bantilan received 1 certificate; and Sigi District Attorney Moh Aria Rosyid received 1 certificate.

Deputy Minister Ossy explained that the certificates distributed were the result of the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program.

“Central Sulawesi is showing good progress and advancement. The 2025 target is 5,494 land plots in 13 “We have successfully completed 4,797 plots, or 95.56% of them,” he said.

The certificate handover is expected to strengthen legal protection for land and support economic growth and social justice in Central Sulawesi. Coordinating Minister AHY also emphasized the importance of legal certainty over land ownership in his remarks.

“Certainty over assets in our regions is needed, including for those who, once again, are interested in investing here.

And above all, we hope that our people have legal certainty over their land. Therefore, the task carried out by the Ministry of ATR/BPN is noble and we fully support it,” said Coordinating Minister AHY.

The certificate handover was also attended by the Director of Spatial Planning and Utilization, Agus Sutanto; the Director of Communal Land Regulation, Institutional Relations, and Land Deed Officials (PPAT), Iskandar Syah.

The Head of the Central Sulawesi Provincial BPN Regional Office, Muhammad Tansri, and his staff; and representatives from the Central Sulawesi Provincial Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).
