Tangerang Regent Moch Maesyal Rasyid attended a social service event, including free examinations and treatment held at the East Sepatan District Hall on Sunday (July 13, 2025).
On this occasion, Regent Maesyal Rasyid stated that the social service, which included capital assistance, free examinations, and treatment, was a collaboration between the local government, the Sharia Economic Community (MES), and PT. LKM.
One of the goals of this activity is to accommodate the community’s desire to provide capital assistance and improve public health services, especially for residents of East Sepetan District.
“Thank God, today I am here with the Head of MES Tangerang Regency, the Sub-district Head, and doctors to carry out this social service.
Both in terms of health services and to accommodate the community’s desire to provide capital assistance for their economic needs,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
According to him, assistance in the health and economic aspects of the community is very necessary.
Sharia economics is not only about financially profitable activities but also directly impacts the socio-economic aspects of the community.
“These two things must go hand in hand to turn the wheels of the community’s economy.
So, I believe this Sharia economy is not only about financially profitable activities but also has a direct impact on the social and economic well-being of the community,” he said.
He hopes the collaboration that has been established between the local government, MES, and LKM will strengthen, allowing for similar activities to be held in all sub-districts in the future.
“I hope the collaboration between MES, the proactive doctors, and PT. LKM will be even stronger so that we can hold similar activities in all sub-districts in the future,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the General Chair of the Tangerang Regency Sharia Economic Community, Dr. KH. M. Mahrusillah, expressed his gratitude for the Tangerang Regent’s presence and support for MES.
In addition to promoting MES, the program, along with the local government and partners, helps directly alleviate the burden on the community, especially in East Sepatan District.
“I would like to thank the Regent, his entire staff, and all the gentlemen for their support.
This community service, supported by Kyai Haji Embay Mulya Syarief and the Amazing New Beginning Foundation, hopefully will be a good deed for all of you,” he said.
He continued, explaining that MES, in addition to holding outreach and community service events, has also held several financial inclusion and literacy training sessions for the community, with representatives from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
