Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, visited S, a 1-year-11-month-old toddler with a tumor (hygroma cyst) in Pasilian Village, Keronjo District, on Friday (August 1, 2025).
During his humanitarian visit, Regent Maesyal Rasyid was accompanied by the Head of the Tangerang Regency Health Office, Dr. Hendra Tarmizi, the Head of Kronjo District, Mumu Muklis, the Military District Commander (Danramil), the Police Chief, as well as the Village Head and local village officials.
“I attended with the Head of the Health Office, the Sub-district Head, the Military District Commander, the Police Chief, and other Muspika (Regional Leadership Coordination)
Officials to visit and observe firsthand the condition of Ananda S, a beautiful 1-year-11-month-old toddler suspected of having a neck tumor,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
The Regent confirmed that S had received initial treatment at the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) and Balaraja Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
The Tangerang Regency Government has also scheduled further follow-up examinations and treatment.
“God willing, we will take Ananda S to the Tangerang Regency Regional Hospital on Monday for further examination and treatment.
If further medical treatment is needed, it will be carried out immediately. We will accompany the child directly, along with the sub-district head, village head, and neighborhood association (RT) head,” he added.
On that occasion, the Regent also urged the entire community to pray for toddler S’s recovery and to encourage his parents to remain strong and patient as they accompany him during the treatment process.
“Hopefully, Ananda S will recover. Let’s all pray together. This demonstrates our shared concern and responsibility in maintaining the health of children in Tangerang Regency,” he concluded.
