In an effort to strengthen collaboration between the banking and media sectors, Bank Banten officials paid a courtesy visit to the Banten Province Secretariat of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) in Serang City on Wednesday (October 29, 2025).

The Bank Banten delegation was led by Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary, Ferdy Ardian, accompanied by Senior Manager of Institutional Affairs Alvian Hermawan, Corporate Communications Manager A. Wildan Fauzi, and Apriliawati.

Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the Chairman of PWI Banten, Rian Nopandra, Secretary Fahdi Khalid, and members of the PWI Banten Province management.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed opportunities for collaboration in various areas, ranging from publications and financial education to Bank Banten’s support for regional press activities.

Strengthening the Media’s Role in Regional Development

Bank Banten’s Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary, Ferdy Ardian, stated that this synergy is part of Bank Banten’s commitment to supporting development and the welfare of the people of Banten Province.

“This visit demonstrates the synergy between Bank Banten and the Banten Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI).

We view the media as a strategic partner in providing public information that Bank Banten is present and committed to the community,” said Ferdy Ardian.

Ferdy also added that Bank Banten is ready to support the 2026 National Press Day (HPN), both through moral support and sponsorship.

He believes that the HPN momentum can strengthen collaboration between the press and regional financial institutions.

“We want HPN 2026 to be not only a festive celebration, but also to bring significant benefits to the people of Banten,” Ferdy added.

PWI Banten Appreciates Bank Banten’s Support

The Chairman of PWI Banten, Rian Nopandra, appreciated Bank Banten’s proactive steps.

He hopes this collaboration will not stop at just one activity, but will continue through various sustainable programs such as financial literacy, public education, and social activities in the Banten region.

“We welcome this synergy. We hope the collaboration between the press and Bank Banten can serve as an example of positive synergy to build a more informative and prosperous Banten,” said Rian.

Through this collaboration, the Banten PWI and Bank Banten agree to continue promoting regional progress through collaboration between the press, the banking sector, and the local government.

The 2026 National Press Day (HPN) is expected to be a momentum for the revival of the regional press while strengthening the spirit of an empowered, independent, and informative Banten.
