Tangerang Regency’s Regional Public Works Agency (DBMSDA), Drainage Division: Construction of 3.8 Kilometers of New Channels, Allocating IDR 8 Billion to 28 Locations.

The Tangerang Regency Government, through the Department of Public Works and Water Resources (DBMSDA), continues to accelerate flood mitigation efforts in Tangerang Regency.

As part of the 2025 Revised Regional Budget (APBD), the Drainage Division has begun construction of channels at 28 locations, with a target length of 3.8 kilometers.

This project is expected to significantly reduce waterlogging and flooding in various areas of Tangerang Regency.

Drainage construction and improvement activities in Tangerang Regency are currently being accelerated.

In the 2025 Revised Regional Budget (APBD), the Drainage Division of the Tangerang Regency’s Department of Public Works and Water Resources is focusing work on 28 crucial locations.

With a budget allocation of approximately 8 billion rupiah, the government is targeting the construction of a 3.8-kilometer drainage channel.

Which is targeted for completion within 60 calendar days, or precisely by the end of December 2025.

Yawan Duriyawan, Head of the Drainage Division of the Tangerang Regency Water Resources Management Agency (DBMSDA).

Stated that his office is encouraging flood alleviation efforts in Tangerang Regency to be a shared responsibility, with collaboration from various parties, especially the community, regarding waste issues.

“With the ongoing development, Yawan hopes that public awareness of environmental protection will increase, so that flood mitigation efforts can be more optimal.

He also hopes that people will dispose of waste properly and not litter, so that the drainage channels can function optimally and are not blocked by waste,” he said.
