Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid distributed aid packages to Families at Risk of Stunting (KRS), such as prospective brides and grooms (Catin), pregnant women, and toddlers under 2 years old (Baduta) at the Kelapa Dua District Hall on Wednesday (November 26, 2025).

Regent Maesyal Rasyid was accompanied by the Head of the Tangerang Regency Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Rismawati Maesyal Rasyid.

The Regency Government is committed to reducing the number of stunting cases in Tangerang Regency.

In his remarks, he emphasized that the regional government remains committed to strengthening nutritional interventions to reduce stunting rates.

Assistance for KRS is part of a series of programs to accelerate stunting reduction and prevention.

“The provision of nutritious food and basic necessities is being carried out to accelerate the reduction and prevention of stunting in Tangerang Regency.

Through this assistance, we hope that stunting rates will continue to decline and new cases will not emerge,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

He also reiterated that Tangerang Regency had received appreciation from the central government in the form of fiscal incentives for the current year.

This was in recognition of the successful implementation of the program to accelerate stunting reduction.

“Thank God, Tangerang Regency has received appreciation from the central government in the form of fiscal incentives.

This demonstrates that efforts to address stunting in our region are considered successful.

This achievement is the result of the collaborative work of all government and community elements,” he said.

According to him, the aid package distributed, worth Rp 700,000, includes nutritious food items, consisting of nine types of items, through the Tangerang Regency Regional Budget (APBD), as a form of government support for families at risk of stunting.

“There is rice, cooking oil, eggs, beef floss, wheat flour, agar-agar powder, chicken floss, fish balls, and a package of natural cooking,” he added.

He also appealed to prospective brides-to-be, parents, cadres, and government officials in the region.

To ensure that stunting prevention efforts are carried out consistently and sustainably in their respective communities as a concrete form of
fully supporting the national agenda to accelerate stunting reduction.

“We hope parents will continue to maintain environmental cleanliness and pay attention to their children’s nutritional intake.

Through the joint movement of the DASHAT program—Dapur Sehat Tatasi Stunting.

The Tangerang Regency Government continues to strengthen its commitment to realizing a Prosperous, Healthy, and Competitive Tangerang,” he concluded.

The Head of the Tangerang Regency DPPKB Office, Dr. Muchlis, in his report emphasized that the Dapur Sehat Tatasi Stunting (DASHAT) program is one of the regional government’s important strategies in accelerating the reduction of stunting rates.

“The DASHAT program emphasizes providing balanced nutrition for families at risk of stunting, such as pregnant women, postpartum mothers, toddlers, and prospective brides.

This program not only prioritizes health services but also community empowerment to strengthen family resilience,” explained Dr. Muchlis.

He explained that since its inception in 2023, the DASHAT program has been established in all villages and sub-districts in Tangerang Regency.

In 2025, the program targeted 3,312 at-risk families, including education and in-kind assistance.

The agency is also preparing additional in-kind packages to be distributed to all sub-districts, and targets approximately 3,500 families to receive similar assistance in the following fiscal year.

“This program demonstrates the synergy between the government and the community in improving the quality of family life, strengthening social awareness, and supporting the creation of healthy, harmonious, and empowered families,” he added.
