Regent Maesyal Rasyid emphasized that the mobile community health center ambulances are being prepared as an additional health service facility at the sub-district level.

TANGERANG, POSINTERNASIONAL.COM.

Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid handed over 28 mobile community health center ambulances to sub-districts in Tangerang Regency.

The handover took place during a Monday morning roll call held at Raden Aria Yudhanegara Field on Monday (12/15/2025).

Regent Maesyal Rasyid emphasized that the mobile community health center ambulances are being prepared as an additional health service facility at the sub-district level.

This ambulance will be used directly by the community, especially in emergencies and urgent needs.

“These mobile community health center ambulances are used to assist residents in sub-districts when the community health center ambulances are in use and a resident needs immediate health care,” said Regent Maesyal.

He explained that although 44 community health centers in Tangerang Regency currently have ambulances, this is still insufficient for the Regency’s population of approximately 3.4 million.

The addition of ambulances to the sub-district is expected to further strengthen more equitable and responsive health services.

He continued, explaining that the mobile community health center ambulances will operate 24 hours a day.

Residents requiring services can contact the sub-district head, the village secretary, village employees, or designated ambulance drivers.

“These ambulances are used entirely for the benefit of the community. Their operation and management are regulated by the sub-district government and are the responsibility of the village head,” he emphasized.

He added that each ambulance is equipped with adequate health facilities, such as patient beds, oxygen tanks, spare oxygen, and first aid kits.

This is to support initial treatment before patients receive further care at a health facility.

“For healthcare workers, in emergency situations, one to two medical personnel can accompany the ambulance driver to provide initial treatment to the patient,” he added.

In the future, the Tangerang Regency Government plans to expand its fleet of mobile community health center ambulances, not only in sub-districts.

“But also in villages, based on the results of the community health service needs mapping,” he said.
