The Deputy Regent of Tangerang, Intan Nurul Hikmah, encouraged the Tangerang Regency Raudhatul Athfal Teachers Association (IGRA) to strengthen collaboration in developing quality early childhood education.
This was stated by Deputy Regent Intan when opening the 2026 Regional Working Meeting (Rakerda) of the Tangerang Regency Raudhatul Athfal Teachers Association (IGRA) at the IGRA Secretariat in Cikupa District on January 7, 2026.
“This Rakerda is not merely a ceremonial activity, but a starting point for dedication and a significant responsibility to strengthen collaboration in developing quality early childhood education.
Especially through Raudhatul Athfal as the initial foundation for character development,” said Deputy Regent Intan.
In her remarks, Deputy Regent Intan emphasized that Raudhatul Athfal (RA) teachers hold a very noble and strategic position.
RA teachers are among the first to introduce children to manners, morals, prayers, and Islamic values.
“RA teachers are the guardians of the foundations of civilization, because from their hands a generation is born that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also morally and spiritually strong,” he emphasized.
According to him, educating early childhood is not an easy task; it requires extraordinary patience, sincerity, and compassion.
Therefore, he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all RA teachers in Tangerang Regency for their dedication and contribution to education and the future of the nation’s future generations.
“I congratulate and express my appreciation to all the newly inaugurated administrators and the extended family of IGRA Tangerang Regency who have carried out this significant mandate.
Our moral, social, and organizational responsibilities extend not only to the wider community but also to the future of the nation’s future generations,” he said.
He also urged IGRA administrators and members to continue improving their teacher competency and professionalism.
Strengthening the RA institution, as well as consistency in instilling Islamic values, nationalism, and noble character from an early age.
“Through this Tangerang Regency IGRA Regional Working Meeting, I hope to produce a focused work program formulation.
Sustainable, and able to respond to the challenges of modern development without abandoning the identity of Islamic education,” he concluded.
The event was also attended by the Chairmen of the IGRA Regional Leadership (PD) of Banten Province, the IGRA PD of Tangerang City,
the IGRA PD of South Tangerang City, as well as the Chairmen and administrators of IGRA at the sub-district level throughout Tangerang Regency.
