Deputy Regent Intan Monitors Implementation of Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) Raid in Daon Rajeg Village, Deputy Regent of Tangerang.
Intan Nurul Hikmah, monitored the implementation of the Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) Raid at Gelatik 2 Posyandu, Daon Village, Kec. Rajeg, Tuesday (January 13, 2026)
On this occasion, Deputy Regent Intan stated that the Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) raids are part of the Tangerang Regency Government’s efforts to improve the quality of basic health services for the community and reduce stunting rates, especially for pregnant women and toddlers.
“We are conducting these Posyandu raids to bring health services closer to the community and ensure that pregnant women and toddlers receive regular health monitoring. This is also part of our efforts to reduce stunting rates early on,” said Deputy Regent Intan.
She emphasized that the monitoring is also to directly ensure that the Posyandu raids are being implemented effectively, both in terms of targeting and providing services.
“This joint monitoring with the Rajeg Sub-district Head, the Village Head, and the Community Health Center team is to ensure that the Posyandu raids are being implemented effectively and that services, especially for mothers and children, are truly accessible to healthcare providers,” she said.
She added that the government’s direct presence in the community is expected to raise parental awareness of the importance of regularly attending Posyandu.
She believes that Posyandu plays a strategic role in monitoring children’s growth and development and maintaining maternal health during pregnancy.
“Posyandu (Integrated Health Posts) play a strategic and important role. In addition to health checks, we also provide PMT (Food and Nutritional Supplements) and milk to pregnant women and toddlers,” he added.
The Posyandu raid was enthusiastically received by pregnant women and mothers of toddlers. From early morning, residents flocked to the Posyandu to take advantage of various health services, from toddler weighings and prenatal checkups to nutrition and child development consultations.
A total of 49 infants under 2 years old (Baduta), 97 toddlers, and two pregnant women were registered at the Gelatik 2 Posyandu in Daon Village.
Meanwhile, Yuni, a mother with a toddler, expressed her satisfaction with the Posyandu raid. She considered the services provided very helpful and convenient for residents.
“Thank God, the services are comprehensive and the staff are friendly. We are more enthusiastic about coming to the Posyandu because we can directly check our children’s health and receive education,” she said.
The Tangerang Regency Government continues to encourage active community participation in utilizing Posyandu services as the frontline of maternal and child health services, in order to create a healthy and quality generation.
