The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) and Prasetiya Mulya University signed a Creative Economy Zone Cooperation Agreement (PKS-KEK).
The signing was witnessed by Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid and Tangerang Regency Regional Secretary Soma Atmaja in the Wareng Meeting Room on Wednesday (January 14, 2026).
On this occasion, Regent Maesyal Rasyid revealed that the PKS-KEK involves 12 sub-districts and 12 villages that will be the implementation areas for the Creative Economy Zone development.
In collaboration with Prasetiya Mulya University, which will help facilitate and formulate activities that can be implemented by communities in 12 sub-districts and 12 villages.
“The Tangerang Regency Government and Prasetiya Mulya University are collaborating. The focus will be on 12 sub-districts and 12 village heads related to the people’s economy and the creative economy.

He continued, stating that sub-districts, villages, and communities share the same responsibility for the progress of their respective regions, including development, services, and community empowerment.
“The government, sub-districts, villages, and communities must each have and understand their respective responsibilities.
Sub-districts and villages, in terms of development, services, and empowerment, must also support and actively participate in shared progress,” he emphasized.
He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Prasetiya Mulya University for their collaboration in ensuring operational certainty.
Businesses and income are aligned with the potential and characteristics of each region where the program is implemented.
“We greatly respect and appreciate the visit of Prasetiya Mulya University, led by its Rector, Mr. Hassan Wirajuda.
Thank God, we continue to be concerned about developments in Tangerang Regency related to collaboration between creative economy zones and education,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prasetiya Mulya Rector Hassan Wirajuda ensured that the joint signing of the PKS-KEK was not merely ceremonial.
His team is serious and focused on realizing concrete results, particularly in developing MSMEs and the creative economy, in accordance with the potential and character of the designated regional locations.
“We’re not just talking, but also want to realize the collaboration within a specific timeframe, which has been signed with 12 sub-district heads and 12 village heads.
The Prasetiya Mulya University Partnership Agreement (PKS) document focuses on MSMEs and the creative economy,” emphasized Hassan Wirajuda.
He added that Prasetiya Mulya University has a significant mission to help increase the capacity of MSMEs in Tangerang Regency.
“We have a significant mission: how Prasetiya Mulya University can support small and medium enterprises and foster a more pluralistic university environment,” he concluded.
