The Deputy Regent of Tangerang, Intan Nurul Hikmah, monitored the implementation of the Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) and distributed Supplementary Feeding (PMT) assistance in the form of nutritious food and milk at the Tulip 5 Posyandu in Jambe Village, Jambe District, Tangerang Regency.
As part of the Tangerang Regency Government’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of basic health services for the community, especially pregnant women, infants, and toddlers, Thursday (January 15, 2026).
On this occasion, Deputy Regent Intan stated that Posyandu plays a vital role as the frontline provider of public health services and support at the village level, even down to the neighborhood (RT) and community (RW) levels.
The Posyandu Gerebek program is a strategic, multi-sectoral initiative to ensure optimal monitoring of child growth and development and strengthen stunting prevention from an early age.
The implementation of this program also further strengthens health services for mothers and children.
“Through the Gerebek Posyandu program, the regional government wants to ensure that all Posyandus are active, high-quality, and capable of providing maximum service to the community.
Efforts to prevent stunting and improve maternal and child health cannot be done alone but require multi-sectoral collaboration between the government, Posyandu cadres, the community, academics, and the private sector,” said Deputy Regent Intan.
She continued, the Gerebek Posyandu program is a routine agenda implemented simultaneously and periodically throughout Tangerang Regency throughout 2026.
Through this program, the Tangerang Regency Government hopes to improve public health, reduce stunting rates, and create a healthy, intelligent, and high-quality generation for the future.

According to him, the Gerebek Posyandu program not only provides physical services but also includes health education for parents, pregnant women, and Posyandu cadres.
This education emphasizes the importance of proper parenting, balanced nutrition, and stunting prevention efforts, which must begin during pregnancy.
“The community is also educated on the importance of complete immunization for infants as basic protection against various diseases.
We also aim to reduce maternal mortality through routine prenatal checkups and safe deliveries,” he concluded.
