The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Tangerang Regency, Soma Atmaja, led the early February roll call held at Raden Aria Yudhanegara Field, Tangerang Regency Government Center, Monday (2/2/26).
In his address, Sekda Soma Atmaja emphasized the importance of accelerating performance, particularly in the first quarter of the 2026 Fiscal Year, which he considered crucial to the success of overall regional development.
“Today we enter the first week of February.
This means that in this first quarter, we must boost budget absorption from the implementation of our duties.
Success in the first quarter will be crucial for our success in 2026,” Sekda Soma emphasized.
Furthermore, Sekda Soma Atmaja also encouraged all civil servants to show empathy and concern for the conditions in various areas that have been affected by flooding for almost a month.
“Of the 29 sub-districts in Tangerang Regency, 27 have been affected by the floods. Some of them may even be our own homes.
Therefore, let us take care of each other’s health, help, and pray for our brothers and sisters who are still in distress,” he said.
He conveyed the Tangerang Regent’s message that the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Social Services Agency, and other relevant regional agencies continue to work optimally to assist affected residents.
Especially for the evacuees still in tents, mosques, and village halls.
“The Regent has advised that none of our people should go hungry. That is his directive to all of us,” he said.
Closing his address, the Regional Secretary invited all participants to pray for the floods to recede quickly and for the weather to gradually improve.
He also reiterated the spirit of government officials’ commitment to development, service, and community empowerment.
