The Indonesian Deputy Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono, expressed his deep appreciation for the implementation of the Free Health Check (CKG) program in Tangerang Regency.
This was expressed by Deputy Minister Dante during a visit to the Cikupa Community Health Center (Puskesmas) and the Tangerang Regency Health Laboratory (Labkesda) on Friday (06/02/26).
“We from the Ministry of Health are reviewing and observing the Free Health Check firsthand.
The reason I came to Tangerang was because I saw the high coverage data for the CKG program in Tangerang Regency,” said Deputy Minister Dante.
According to him, Tangerang Regency has a special strategy for providing the CKG program, both through education down to the neighborhood (RT) and community (RW) levels and through diverse target audiences.
The implementation of digital-based innovations in CKG services in Tangerang Regency has also significantly contributed to the high CKG coverage.
“In Tangerang Regency, they have a special service strategy.
The free health check-up program features innovations, including digital registration, priority lanes, and spirometry devices to measure lung capacity.
The free health check-ups aren’t limited to community health centers (Puskesmas), but also take place in markets, schools, offices, companies, and neighborhood associations (RT/RW). Beyond that, free health check-ups at the Puskesmas can reach up to 100 people,” he explained.
He continued, explaining that the 106 percent coverage of CKG services in Tangerang Regency also demonstrates public trust in the health facilities provided in Tangerang Regency.
This high rate has led to people from other regencies coming to Tangerang Regency for free health check-ups.
“Thank you to the Regent for the effective coordination with all his staff for this free health check-up service.
This will make the community healthier and more productive. Hopefully, this can continue,” he added.
Meanwhile, Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid revealed that the CKG coverage has reached approximately 106 percent.
This is a collaborative effort and commitment across sectors. Furthermore, the use of digital-based innovation is continuously strengthened to ensure efficient and targeted CKG services.
“Specifically for Tangerang Regency, we have collaborated with sub-district heads, village heads, and village heads, as well as the Health Office, to provide free healthcare services.
So, not only at community health centers (Puskesmas), clinics, and hospitals, but also at markets, community halls, and even sports fields,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
He continued, stating that the Tangerang Regency Government is fully committed to supporting and ensuring the success of the CGK program launched by President Prabowo.
“All of us, including the medical staff in Tangerang Regency, from hospitals, the Health Office, Community Health Centers (Puskesmas), and Integrated Health Posts (Posyandu).
We will be even more active in implementing public health programs in accordance with the direction of the Deputy Minister and the President of the Republic of Indonesia, who have initiated free health checks in regencies and cities throughout Indonesia,” he concluded.
He also expressed his gratitude for the support and assistance from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in making the CKG program a success in Tangerang Regency.
“On behalf of the government and the people of Tangerang Regency, we express our gratitude for the Vice Minister’s presence in person.
Alhamdulillah, all 44 Community Health Centers have received ultrasound equipment from the Ministry of Health, and he will also provide additional EKG equipment for all 44 Community Health Centers,” he said.
