Tangerang Regent, Moc. Maesyal Rasyid, expressed his appreciation for the poverty alleviation initiative, including the Shopee driver recruitment initiative, carried out by the Kawan Muda 17 Foundation in collaboration with the Manpower Office, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and Shopee.

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and especially the Kawan Muda Foundation, who have always been active in serving the people of Tangerang Regency,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

has made a real contribution to the community and local government in reducing unemployment.
“This program is excellent and contributes to efforts to reduce the unemployment rate in Tangerang Regency,” he concluded.
He continued, stating that this poverty alleviation program could serve as a role model for future similar programs.
“Today, we are present in Kosambi District together with the Sub-district Head of the Manpower Office, Kwan Muda 17, and the Head of the Social Security Agency for Employment (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan), to collaborate with Shopee.
“We want the people of Tangerang Regency to be able to work with Shopee and become Shopee drivers,” he said.
He also hopes that the program can be implemented in other districts so that more people can work and earn an income.
“Shopee has opened up as many job opportunities as possible.
Today, specifically in Kosambi District, the program is open to 100 people until 3:00 PM. They are working with Shopee to become Shopee drivers in Tangerang Regency,” he added.

“This is one of Kawan Muda 17’s steps to assist the government.

He hopes this activity will also inspire the private sector and other business actors.
They should not only focus on developing their businesses but also directly involve the community.
“Everyone can and is welcome to invest here, from the private sector to state-owned enterprises, and others, but don’t forget that our community needs our attention,” he concluded.
