The Tangerang Regency Government held a commemoration of the Isra Mi’raj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW 1447 Hijri at the Al-Amjad Grand Mosque on Wednesday (January 21, 2026).

The commemoration was attended by Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, Deputy Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah, Head of the Tangerang Regency Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Hj. Risma Maesyal Rasyid, and members of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).

Representatives of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) leadership, heads of regional government agencies (OPD), religious leaders, and employees within the Tangerang Regency Government.

In his remarks, Regent Maesyal Rasyid emphasized that the Isra Mi’raj event is a moment of spiritual reflection steeped in the values ​​of faith and piety, particularly the obligation of the five daily prayers.

“Isra Mi’raj teaches us the importance of prayer as the primary foundation for moral development.

Discipline and integrity, both in our personal lives and in carrying out government duties,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

He added that congregational prayer has a strategic significance in maintaining unity and togetherness amidst the diverse community of Tangerang Regency.

According to him, these values ​​align with the local government’s efforts to achieve sustainable and harmonious development.

“Congregational prayer not only strengthens the relationship with Allah SWT, but also strengthens Islamic brotherhood.
In one row, there are no differences in rank or status; all are equal as servants of Allah,” he emphasized.

He also encouraged all civil servants and employees within the Tangerang Regency Government to utilize prayer as a source of spiritual strength in carrying out their duties as public servants.

He also believes that prayer performed with awareness and sincerity will foster a work ethic that is disciplined, honest, and responsible.

Meanwhile, preacher KH. Fikri Jainudin MZ emphasized in his religious sermon that prayer is a pillar of religion and a reflection of the quality of a Muslim’s faith.

“If people pray well and consistently, God willing, their morals will improve, their lives will be orderly, and brotherhood within the community will grow stronger,” said KH. Fikri Jainudin MZ.

He also emphasized the importance of maintaining congregational prayer as a means of strengthening Islamic brotherhood and fostering peace and blessings, both in community life and in governance.

This commemoration of the Isra Mi’raj of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is expected to further strengthen faith and piety.

It will also strengthen unity and togetherness among all elements of the Tangerang Regency community.
