The Acting Regent of Tangerang, Andi Ony, accompanied the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin.

At the launch event for the construction of the Syekh Nawawi Banten University and the laying of the first stone of the Syekh Nawawi Banten Islamic Hospital (RSI) in Mekarbaru District, Tangerang Regency, Monday (14/ 10/24).

On the sidelines of the event, Acting Andi Ony expressed his pride and gratitude for choosing the location of Tangerang Regency, especially Sukamulya District, as the location for the construction of an education and health center.

“We really support this effort and are committed to ensuring the project runs smoothly until completion,” said Acting Andi Ony.

According to him, the development project inaugurated by Vice President Ma’ruf Amin will have a positive impact on the development of Tangerang Regency, both in the education and health sectors.

“This development will have a positive impact on Tangerang Regency, especially for representative education and health facilities,” he said.

Meanwhile, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin in his speech emphasized the importance of developing education and health services in Banten, especially in the Tangerang Regency area.

According to him, the construction of Syekh Nawawi University and the Islamic Hospital will be a strategic step in improving the quality of human resources and health services for the surrounding community.

The construction of Syekh Nawawi University will be carried out on 10 hectares of land, with the construction process having reached 30 percent.

“It is hoped that this campus construction project will be fully completed in April 2025,” he said He continued.

The Syekh Nawawi Banten Islamic Hospital which will be built in the same area aims to provide better and more affordable health services for the community.

“With this development, it is hoped that Banten and the surrounding Tangerang Regency area will become more advanced and become a center for the development of superior Islamic education and health in Banten,” he concluded.
