The plane with 3 people on board fell free after 500 feet above the surface. It is suspected that the plane that crashed was caused by an error in checking the fuel, Thursday (16/11).
When above 500 feet above the surface, the training aircraft stalled due to a suspected lack of fuel.
When it was about to take off, it couldn’t be controlled, because there were several factors lacking in the plane being flown.
There are 3 people on one ship, which means there are 6 people including the pilot.
“The six people have not yet received a clear report, because the six people are currently unable to explain what actually happened,” said TNI First Marshal R Agung Sasongkojati.
The Indonesian Air Force (AU) confirmed that the two Super Tucano fighter aircraft from air squadron 21 Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base Malang were in good condition.
Before taking off, he carried out a training mission and crashed in Pasuruan, East Java. The Indonesian Air Force said the two planes crashed allegedly due to bad weather.
Kadispen TNI AU First Marshal TNI R Agung Sasongkojati mentioned this in a press conference at Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base Malang. He said, before leaving, it was confirmed that there were no problems with the two planes.
“There were no problems with the plane, purely (due to) bad weather.
“All the planes are in good condition, there are no problems,” said Agung as reported by detikJatim, Thursday (16/11/2023).
