32nd Harganas Commemoration Momentum to Strengthen Families for Advanced Indonesia.

Tangerang Regency Government held the commemoration of the 32nd National Family Day (Harganas) at the Tangerang Regency level at Tigaraksa Square, Tangerang Regency Government Center, Saturday (4/7/25).

In his remarks, Tangerang Regent Moch Maesyal Rasyid emphasized that the commemoration of Harganas which carries the theme “Family Day for Advanced Indonesia”, is not only ceremonial.

But also a means of reflection to strengthen and strengthen the strategic role of families in national development.

“We must use the momentum of this National Family Day to strengthen and strengthen ties between family members, improve communication.

Instill national values ​​and love for the homeland, and guide our children to grow up healthy, intelligent and prosperous,” said Regent Maesyal.

He also highlighted the active role of parents, especially the elderly who remain enthusiastic about increasing and honing their knowledge and remain productive in their old age.

One of the efforts to keep the elderly productive is through the elderly school program which is currently running in 4 sub-districts and is targeted to be comprehensive in the next few years.

“We are all proud to see the elderly who remain enthusiastic and productive in their old age. We will continue to strengthen it with the elderly school program which is targeted to be held in all sub-districts in the next few years,” he said.

He emphasized that the government continues to encourage the active role of Posyandu cadres, Puskesmas, and the community in maintaining the health of pregnant women and toddlers.

This active role and cross-sector collaboration has been quite successful in efforts to reduce stunting rates in Tangerang Regency which has shown an improving trend since 2024.

“We want the future generation of Tangerang Regency to grow up healthy and smart.

From harmonious families, we can achieve an advanced Indonesia and a Golden Indonesia,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Banten Province BKKBN Representative, Rusman Efendi, appreciated the Tangerang Regency Government for its commitment to holding the 32nd Harganas.

According to him, a strong and harmonious family is the main foundation in building the nation.

“A strong and harmonious family will produce a quality generation that is able to compete in the global era. We need to build synergy between the government, society, and all stakeholders to create a strong family,” said Rusman.

He conveyed the BKKBN’s strategic programs to support family development, such as Genting (Foster Parents Movement to Prevent Stunting), Provision of nationally standardized childcare.

The event, which was also enlivened by performances by the elderly and students, was also attended by the Head of the Tangerang Regency PKK Team.

Regional Secretary, Head of DWP, Forkopimda, heads of OPDs, sub-district heads, village/sub-district heads, and the general public.

After the event, the Regent together with the Head of TP PKK and the Forkopimda ranks reviewed the health service stands, family education, and local MSMEs.
