After launching the Implementation of Electronic Services in Bali and Banten last May, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).

Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) this time launched the Implementation of Electronic Services in 11 Regency/City Land Offices (Kantah) throughout West Java Province simultaneously. This activity took place at Gedung Sate, Bandung recently.

The 11 Kantahs whose Electronic Service Implementation was inaugurated include Bandung City, Cimahi City, Bekasi City, Depok City, Sukabumi City, Cirebon City, Banjar City, Bogor City, Tasikmalaya City, Karawang Regency, and Bekasi Regency.

The implementation of Electronic Services continues to be intensified because according to Minister AHY, electronic services, especially output in the form of Electronic Land Certificates, can provide many benefits to the community.

“By switching media from conventional to digital, there are many benefits,” he said.

“If you already have an Electronic Land Certificate, it means it has been entered into the database, so you don’t need to worry about it being damaged, destroyed or even lost.

“Electronic Land Certificates are also not that easy to duplicate, forge or duplicate by irresponsible parties, including the land mafia because they are already in a database whose validity can be checked at any time,” added Minister AHY.

The spirit of implementing electronic services is also an effort to quickly realize a complete district/city. By being declared a Complete Regency/City, an area will have its own advantages.

Regional governments (Pemda) can more easily determine policies related to spatial planning and the most important thing is to minimize overlapping land ownership.

“Therefore, let’s work together to make it a success, we will guard it together. Hopefully, in the near future, West Java Province will become a complete province where all districts/cities can serve electronically,” added the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN.

On the same occasion, Acting. The Governor of West Java, Bey Machmudin believes that the implementation of electronic services will have a positive impact on the community and regional governments throughout West Java.

Therefore, he and the ranks of the West Java Provincial Government are ready to support and synergize with the Ministry of ATR/BPN in implementing and making this program a success.

“I also want to invite all elements of society and the Regional Government to fully support the implementation of this Electronic Land Certificate and of course collaboration between the central, regional and community governments is very necessary so that this program can run successfully and provide benefits to the entire community,” said Bey Machmudin.

Head of the West Java Province BPN Regional Office, Yuniar Hikmat Ginanjar confirmed that all Kantah throughout West Java will immediately implement Electronic Services.

According to him, this also answers the challenges of the times which require staff to digitalize.

Even though only 11 Kantah have launched Electronic Service Implementation, Yuniar Hikmat Ginanjar in his report said that previously they had issued quite a few certificates.

“Even though we just carried out the grand launching tonight, we have so far issued 5,332 Electronic Land Certificates, including 2,002 Ownership Rights Certificates (SHM), 782 Building Use Rights Certificates (HGB), 2,476 Use Rights Certificates, and SHM for Flat 74 field,” he concluded.

Present on this occasion were a number of Middle and Primary High Leadership Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN; and Heads of Kantah throughout West Java, especially from the 11 districts/cities who launched the Implementation of Electronic Services.

Also present were the Regents/Mayors of West Java and the ranks of the Forkopimda of West Java Province.
