Improves digital security Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) responded to the cybercrime case against the National Data Center (PDN) and its impact on the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
He delivered his response shortly after inaugurating the Implementation of Electronic Land Certificates at 29 Land Offices throughout Central Java, at the Central Java Governor’s Office, Friday (12/07/2024).
“Incidentally, our data has not been integrated into the PDN (National Data Center) system, so it is still managed independently. But of course we also use it as a very valuable lesson,” said Minister AHY.
Minister AHY said that cyber attacks always haunt various government institutions, corporations and individuals in Indonesia and other countries.
“We, the Ministry of ATR/BPN, must further improve this digital security system.
“I have also taken direct tactical steps and we control everything,” continued Minister AHY.
Apart from increasing security and taking steps to prevent the dangers of cyber crime.
Minister AHY also carries out regular evaluations. Maintaining digital data and information is the duty of all levels of Ministry of ATR/BPN employees so that Electronic Land Certificates can be maximized.
“We all take good care of it, but we always have to carry out evaluations because we can’t be careless and have to update the system because once again.
“Crime in cyberspace is growing and the actors increasingly have the capacity to carry out cyber attacks,” said Minister AHY.
The Minister of ATR/Head of BPN also assured the public that land services, including in Central Java Province, have gotten better since implementing digital transformation.
“With an electronic system, everything is faster, more efficient, transparent and accountable. “Electronic services prevent bad practices that are detrimental to society, the government and the state,” he stressed.
The inauguration of the implementation of electronic land certificates this time was carried out at 29 land offices. This also makes Central Java the 20th province in Indonesia to implement Electronic Land Certificates overall.
On this occasion, Minister AHY was accompanied by a number of Special Staff and Ministerial Experts, Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
Head of the BPN Regional Office for Central Java Province, as well as all Heads of Regency/City Land Offices throughout Central Java Province. Also present were Pj. Governor of Central Java and Forkopimda Central Java.
