Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (Wamen ATR/Waka BPN), Raja Juli Antoni was appointed by President Joko Widodo as Acting. Deputy Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (IKN) on Monday (03/06/2024).
With this appointment, Raja Juli Antoni will accompany Basuki Hadimuljono who is also appointed as Plt. Head of the IKN Authority.
This was conveyed by the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg), Pratikno in a press statement delivered at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta.
The Minister of State Secretary said that this appointment was made after the Head of the IKN Authority and Deputy Head of the IKN Authority for the 2022-2027 period, Bambang Susantono and Dhony Rahajoe, officially resigned.
With this appointment, the president hopes that the parties given responsibility as Plt. The Head and Deputy Head of the IKN Authority can immediately guarantee the best possible acceleration of IKN development.
“With the original vision, namely remaining consistent with the Nusa Rimba Raya plan and of course also providing positive benefits for the surrounding community,” said Pratikno.
Apart from focusing on this, the PUPR Minister who is also Acting. The Head of the IKN Authority on the same occasion said that another focus was accelerating the resolution of land and investment issues.
According to him, the appointment of Deputy Minister of ATR/Waka BPN was also due to land status issues.
“So we will immediately decide whether the status of this IK land is for sale, rent, or PPP (Government and Business Entity Cooperation, ed).
“We want to speed it up, so that investors no longer hesitate to make their investments because their land status will be clearer. Their legal status as investors in IKN will also be clearer,” explained the Acting Head of the IKN Authority.
On a separate occasion, the Deputy Minister of ATR/Waka BPN expressed his thanks to President Joko Widodo for the trust given.
According to him, the mandate he has just assumed is a difficult and important task because his role is to create extraordinary masterpieces for the nation’s history.
As previously stated by Minister AHY. “God willing, I will carry it out with all my heart, all my mind and with all my strength,” said Raja Juli Antoni.
“I am very optimistic that I can carry out this mandate because the person appointed as Chairman is Mr. Bas, my idol at work, a ‘cold-handed’ figure who has completed many large programs and important projects in this country.
