Digital Land Services Make Services Easier and Stay Safe, Here’s Why

Tangerang, POSINTERNATIONAL.COM

Head of the Regional Office of the Banten Province National Land Agency, H. Sudaryanto, SH. MH together with the Head of the Tangerang Regency ATR/BPN Office, H. Joko Susanto, A.Ptnh, M.Si attended the Electronic Land Services Socialization Event organized by Sinarmas Land, Tuesday (25/6/2024).

“This is the first time we have carried out socialization on electronic services and electronic certificates of land rights outside the government.

This is something new because the socialization doesn’t have to be one-way, so it can be two-way and is a very good form of communication and cooperation,” said Sudaryanto, starting his remarks.

Sudaryanto explained that the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has the aim of realizing trusted and world-standard spatial planning and land management by carrying out innovations in registering all plots of land in Indonesia and providing electronic land services, “The target is 2025 for all sectors.

“The land has been registered through the PTSL (Complete Systematic Land Registration-ed) activity, so that all land plots in the Republic of Indonesia are mapped and so that all of them have a Sector Identification Number (NIB),” he said.

He analogized the NIB to a Population Identification Number (NIK), “If 1 resident has 1 NIK then 1 plot of land has 1 NIB and later in the NIB historical information will appear, the origin of the plots of land, the area, who it belongs to up to the boundaries of the land,” he explained

Apart from that, the ATR/BPN Ministry is also implementing electronic services and electronic certificates with the aim of making services more effective and more transparent.

“We have carried out comparative studies in various more developed countries such as the Netherlands, Spain, Australia which have implemented it, including countries in Asia,” he said again.

He admitted that preparing equipment for electronic services was not easy because it required efforts to convert analog certificates from physical documents into digital ones.

But according to Sudaryanto, this effort was made so that in the future electronic land services could run.

To protect against digital data breaches, he explained, “We have prepared pagers such as for manuscripts. When the physical documents are transferred.

We still don’t destroy them so that the data doesn’t just rely on the digital data, but the physical documents are still stored. When there is a cyber attack, “We can still see the history of the land, we can still trace it and this answers people’s concerns,” stressed Sudaryanto.

The event took place at the Green Office Park 6 Building Auditorium in BSD City, attended by Dony Martadisata, Managing Director of the President office of Sinarmas Land.

Employees and partners of Sinarmas Land namely PPAT, Banking and Agents as well as resource person Suwandi Prasetyo, Head of Survey and Mapping Division of the BPN Banten Regional Office and H.Joko Susanto, A.Pth, M.Si, Head of the Tangerang Regency Land Office.
