Dozens of Journalists’ Wives Share Ramadan Takjil at Tangerang Regency Government Center.

Journalists’ wives who are members of the Indonesian Journalists Family Association (IKWI) of Tangerang Regency, share blessings in the holy month of Ramadan by distributing takjil to road users at the Tangerang Regency Government Center (Puspemkab), Tigaraksa, Saturday (8/3/25).

The Head of IKWI Tangerang Regency, K. Fatmawati said that sharing takjil is part of the IKWI Tangerang Regency agenda during the holy month of Ramadan.

“Alhamdulillah, today we are together sharing the bonds of love to others in the holy month of Ramadan.

A month full of blessings, the right month to increase good deeds and strengthen relationships between people,” said Fatmawati.

Fatmawati, who is the wife of the Head of PWI Tangerang Regency, Sri Mulyo, said that this activity is proof of our love for others.

“By sharing takjil, it can foster a sense of empathy and concern for others.

This activity was carried out through the cooperation and self-reliance of the wives of journalists in the PWI Tangerang Regency, and this is IKWI’s first social activity,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the PWI Tangerang Regency, Sri Mulyo, admitted that he was proud and appreciated the activities carried out by the wives of his members.

“This is an extraordinary activity carried out by the wives of journalists who are members of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Tangerang Regency, hopefully it will be useful for others,” he said.

In the future, he also hopes that IKWI Tangerang Regency can be at the forefront of improving the welfare of journalists’ families through UMKM activities.

“In the future, I hope that there will be partnerships and UMKM training by IKWI for members,” he explained.

Mulyo emphasized that IKWI is an independent social organization that was born out of a shared desire to preserve the family life of the National Press.

“IKWI is a social organization with the aim of strengthening friendship, increasing knowledge and broad insight in order to achieve a happy and prosperous family,” he explained.
