The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) has won the overall championship for regional financial and asset management performance at the Banten Province level for the 2025 fiscal year.

The award was presented directly by Banten Governor Andra Soni to Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid at the Banten Governor’s Hall on Friday (12/19/25).

On that occasion, Regent Maesyal Rasyid expressed his gratitude and thanks for the award received by the Tangerang Regency Government.

He emphasized that this achievement was the result of the collective work of all levels of the Tangerang Regency Government, especially the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD).

The Tangerang Regency Government has won the overall championship in the 2025 Banten Province regional financial and asset management competition.

Thank you and our appreciation for the hard work and cooperation of all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs) and the community who have implemented excellent regional financial and asset management,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

He explained that the Tangerang Regency Government has again won the overall championship for the third time in four years in the Banten Province regional financial and asset management assessment.

Out of nine assessment indicators, the Tangerang Regency Government achieved the highest score of 92.5, qualifying for the predicate “very good.”

“Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), this is proof that our regional financial and asset management is orderly, transparent, and accountable.

This award also serves as a response and appreciation from the Banten Provincial Government for regions that are capable of managing their finances and assets well,” he said.

He continued, saying that the award should motivate us to continue improving the quality of governance, particularly in terms of orderly administration of regional finances and assets.

“We ask for prayers from the entire community so that we remain steadfast in implementing good, transparent, and accountable governance,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Tangerang Regency Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), Muhammad Hidayat, stated that this success

is the result of the Tangerang Regency Government’s strong commitment to implementing the principles of transparency, accountability, and prudence in managing regional finances and assets.

“Every year, we implement the principles of transparent, accountable, and prudent financial management.

Thanks to the guidance and direction of the leadership, the Tangerang Regent, and the Head of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Management Agency (TAPD),” he explained.

He added that the Tangerang Regency Government will continue to maintain compliance with laws and regulations and the directives of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

Controlling spending ratios and increasing regional independence.

“This is our commitment to continuous improvement and minimizing errors.

This will ensure that the management of Tangerang Regency’s regional finances and assets will improve and have a positive impact on the community,” he concluded.

On this occasion, Banten Governor Andra Soni also expressed his appreciation and congratulations to the Tangerang Regency Government.

He hoped that the Tangerang Regency Government’s achievements would be maintained and inspire other regencies/cities in Banten Province.
