Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid accompanied Banten Governor Andra Soni to inaugurate a 1.3-kilometer-long, 4-meter-wide village road in Badak Anom Village, Sindang Jaya District, Tangerang Regency, on Monday (January 19, 2026).
The road inauguration was accompanied by a thanksgiving ceremony, followed by a meal with residents and invited guests.
This road serves as a vital access point connecting two villages and two districts, and serves as the main mobility route for local residents.
Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid expressed his appreciation to the Banten Governor for his attention and support for infrastructure development in Tangerang Regency, which has greatly benefited the community in carrying out all their activities.
“We continue to improve and organize the division of authority between the provincial and district governments.
The goal is the same: for the greater benefit of the community. This road was built by the province, while Tangerang Regency will continue with other supporting development projects in the future,
such as public street lighting and supporting facilities,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Banten for the road construction in Badak Anom Village, which he considered to be very beneficial for the community.
“On behalf of the community, I would like to thank the Governor of Banten for his concern for the people of Tangerang Regency, especially the residents of Badak Anom Village and the surrounding area,” he said.
The construction of the Badak Anom Village road was carried out by the Banten Provincial Government using the Banten Provincial Budget.
The Tangerang Regency Government and the Banten Provincial Government collaborated and synergized in this infrastructure development.
Meanwhile, Banten Governor Andra Soni stated that the inauguration of this road was part of the residents’ thanksgiving for the completion of this long-awaited infrastructure project.
“Today, along with the Regent of Tangerang, I attended a thanksgiving ceremony for residents celebrating the opening of a 1,300-meter road in Badak Anom Village, Sindang Jaya District.
Thank God, we were here some time ago, and today the road is complete and ready for use,” said Governor Andra Soni.
According to him, the construction of this road aims to improve village infrastructure services while providing hope and convenience for the community in carrying out their daily activities.
“This road also passes through a school area.
Earlier, I met with the children, and they expressed their gratitude because access to school is now much better,” he explained.
He emphasized that the Banten Provincial Government is fully committed to continuing to coordinate and collaborate with the Tangerang Regency Government in infrastructure management.
“We continue to coordinate regarding the division of tasks between the province and the regency.
So that the benefits can be directly felt by the community,” he said.
Furthermore, Governor Andra Soni also stated that the Banten Provincial Government has coordinated with the C3 River Basin Agency (BBWS) to manage irrigation in the area.
“There are approximately 500 hectares of productive rice fields in this area.
God willing, the irrigation will be well-managed by the C3 BBWS Agency to further increase the community’s agricultural productivity,” he concluded.
