Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid visited the house of Ibu Sati (63), a widow from Talok Village, Kresek District, which collapsed due to heavy rain and strong winds a few days ago on Wednesday (January 14, 2026).

During his visit, Regent Maesyal Rasyid, accompanied by members of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), the Kresek Sub-district Head, the village head, and Talok Village officials, inspected Ibu Sati’s house and provided assistance to rebuild the house, which was severely damaged by the incessant rain and strong winds.

Regent Maesyal Rasyid stated that Ibu Sati’s collapsed house needed immediate repairs through the collective efforts of all parties so that it could be habitable again.

“This is Mrs. Sati’s house, which was hit by rain and wind on Monday, causing it to collapse.

Thank God, today we came with the council, the sub-district head, the village head, and residents to work together so that this house can be rebuilt quickly.

So that she won’t be exposed to the rain anymore and will be comfortable to live in,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

He emphasized that repairs to Mrs. Sati’s house are not only focused on the physical structure, but also on the need for reorganization to make her home healthier, more suitable, and more comfortable.

“Later, her house will be reorganized to be healthier, with ventilation, a bathroom, and a bedroom, so it will be clean and sanitary. Hopefully, this will benefit Mrs. Sati, her family, and the surrounding community,” he added.

He urged all sub-district and village officials to continue increasing their vigilance and preparedness for the rainy season, which has the potential to cause disasters.

He also asked the sub-district head, village heads, neighborhood associations (RW), and residents to maintain environmental cleanliness, especially by not littering.

He also urged the community service to clean the water channels to ensure their proper functioning.

“The local government is committed to continuing to assist residents affected by disasters, especially amidst the current extreme weather conditions.
