The Tangerang Regency Government through the Transportation Agency (Dishub) is targeting 1,486 units of Public Street Lighting (PJU) to be installed in 2025, Monday (10/02).

This was conveyed by the Head of the Tangerang Regency Transportation Agency, Ahmad Taufik, explaining that there will be PJU installation in 29 sub-districts in the Tangerang Regency area.

“We plan 1,455 points for conventional while there are 31 solar-powered PJU points spread across all sub-districts,” he said when interviewed by the Diskominfo team, Monday (10/02/2025).

He said that his party continues to strive to install PJU in fulfilling comfort on the roads.

Especially on the authority of regional government roads that have a length of approximately 1,000 km2, based on this data, 24 thousand points need to be installed.

“Currently, approximately 16 thousand points have been facilitated by the Tangerang Regency Transportation Agency for the installation of PJU,” he concluded.

In addition, Taufik said that the priority work of the Transportation Agency in 2025 is to improve safety and comfort in driving by building road markings, traffic signs and speed traps.
