The Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) inaugurated the Chairman and Members of the Central PPAT Advisory and Supervisory Council (MPPP) and the Regional PPAT Advisory and Supervisory Council (MPPW).
A total of 36 MPPP and MPPW were inaugurated online and offline at the ATR/BPN Ministry Office, Jakarta on Monday (03/06/2024).
Minister AHY said that currently the number of PPATs that have been verified is 21,768 people. With synergy and collaboration between the ATR/BPN Ministry, it is hoped that PPAT can support the eradication of land mafia practices.
“We want to prevent land crime practices, including those carried out by land mafias, and of course we want to build a PPAT that is increasingly professional, has higher capacity and also has good integrity,” said the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN.
Therefore, MPPP and MPPW are asked to strengthen the development and supervision of PPAT optimally in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Number 2 of 2018 concerning the Development and supervision of Land Deed Drafting Officials.
“First, ensure that PPAT carries out its duties and functions in accordance with the code of ethics. “Second, carry out inspections at PPAT offices for periodic supervision,” stressed Minister AHY.
Apart from that, the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN also advised MPPP and MPPW to carry out inspections as a follow-up to the findings of violations committed by PPAT. “Hopefully there won’t be many violations, hopefully we will all have more integrity,” he said.
Furthermore, Minister AHY said that the synergy and collaboration between the ATR/BPN Ministry, the Provincial BPN Regional Office, and the Land Office with the PPATs was not only getting better, but would improve performance over time.
“Have a good job. Hopefully MPPP and MPPW can carry out their duties and functions well, and can make good progress too.
“Let’s join hands together to provide the best service and dedication to our community,” said Minister AHY.
Inaugurated directly on this occasion, the Director General of Land Rights Determination and Registration (PHPT) as Chair of the MPPP, Asnaedi.
Also present were Middle High Leadership Officials and Special Staff; Primary High Leadership Officials; Experts; as well as the ranks of the Directorate General of PHPT of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
