Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid held a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) with a number of representatives from interfaith organizations to accelerate the registration of land for houses of worship in Indonesia.

This number is divided into five houses of worship, including: Christian Churches with 65,182 plots, Catholic Churches with 13,599 plots.

Pura with 8,610 plots; Vihara with 5,530 plots and Klenteng with 407 plots.

To complete the registration of the houses of worship, Asnaedi said that cooperation is needed from each religious organization.

“The more data we can verify, the faster we can complete the certification of these houses of worship,” concluded Asnaedi.
