Leading the Mother’s Day commemoration ceremony, Harison Mocodompis, Head of the Banten Province Regional Office of the National Land Agency (BPN), expressed his pride and deep appreciation for all women who are also mothers, on Monday (December 22nd).
He emphasized that the organization’s progress is inseparable from the active participation and strategic roles of women, whether as office heads, administrators, supervisors, or executive staff.
“Mothers, don’t feel inferior in a man’s world, because this universe is truly mothers’ universe.
Look, the thing that’s shining hot and making mothers dizzy is the sun, not the sun. At night, the sun is replaced by the moon.
Not sir, if we’re talking about the capital city, not the city’s father. If we’re talking about rights, clearly the heels of mothers’ shoes are always higher than the heels of fathers’ shoes,” Harison said.
Held at the Ceremonial Field of the Banten Province National Land Agency (BPN) Regional Office, this message aligned with the mandate of the Minister of Women’s.
Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia, read during the ceremony, which adopted the theme “Empowered and Creative Women,
Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.” This theme serves as a reminder that women are not merely recipients of development benefits, but also the main drivers of change.
Indonesian women work despite various limitations, yet remain pillars of the family economy, guardians of cultural values, and guardians of the sustainability of life.
Concluding his speech, Harison invited all participants to sing a verse of the song “Mother’s Love for Mother”
as a form of respect and reflection on the role of mothers in life.
The ceremony then concluded with a group photo session. As a token of appreciation,
Harison also presented chocolates to the ceremony officers for their excellent performance.
