In the aftermath of internal party comments, the party’s financial management was not transparent, Friday (09/08).
Now it is the turn of the Tangerang Regency PKB DPC to officially report former PKB secretary general Lukman Edy to the Tangerang Police, under Article 311 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code for alleged slander and defamation. Friday (09/08/2024).
The chairman of the Tangerang Regency PKB DPC, Nur Kholis, said that Lukman Edy was considered to have committed slander.
As well as causing a stir because he gave an incorrect statement regarding PKB’s financial management which was said to be not transparent in the finances of the Presidential Election.
Regional elections, as well as faction finances, where Lukman Edy’s statement was felt to be very detrimental to the party.
“We report Lukman Edy under article 311 concerning slander and defamation.
So, we need to convey that Lukman Edy’s brother attacked or slandered him by saying that PKB’s finances were not transparent.
“This means that we, too, the Tangerang Regency DPC were also harmed by Lukman Edy’s statement,” said Nur Kholis.
Next, Nur Kholis highlighted Lukman Edy’s comments which said that PKB had abandoned the kiyai. As well as the general chairman of the PKB, Cak Imin, who was considered too dominant and arrogant in decision making, both the DPW and DPC chairman, Nurcholis emphasized that this was not true.
Nurcholis emphasized that the report against Lukman Edy could be processed immediately legally, and this could be a lesson learned, especially since Lukman Edy is no longer part of the party structure.
“In the structure of the PKB, the shuro council consists of all kiyai, and we always consider or wait for orders from the shuro council and finally the question about Cak Imin being too dominant or arrogant is not true.
Structurally, all DPCs are elected through muscab, DPWs are elected through muswil. “So there will be no arbitrary removal by the general chairman,” stressed Nur Kholis.
